You may think there is nothing more to do than pack your bags and head to the airport when it comes to travel, if you are one of these folks listen up there is a better way to organize your travel! Instead of spreading out your large luggage on the floor or kids bed, and sprawling out multiples of outfits on the dresser, take time to invest in two simple furniture pieces that will simplify your life and your time when it comes to taking a much needed vacation. Find A Place To Squat. When you travel it can become a hectic first day getting to the airport, checking the weather in your destination, making sure the flight is on time and ensuring you didn't forget anything. Make it easier on yourself by placing a luggage rack, or sturdy and wide bench by your office desk. Here's why: when you leave the door there are typically papers on your desk that you have researched up on previously, whether or not these papers have to do about your destination it will remind you if you have all your paperwork. Did you check in? Did you print that business memo? Did you forget to email your boss back? Now by having your luggage in a work atmosphere you tend to think about your luggage as a list. Did you forget anything? Open it up, away from your bed (which should remain nice and neat) and see what's inside. What's great about having your luggage away from the room and on a bench is not only does that allow your brain to send any last signals of "I am actually leaving my home now" but you tend to feel more confident walking out of your home by stepping out of your work area last. Coats and Keys. Hangers are such a blessing in my life, and they can be in yours too! By using hangers on your front door or on the wall next to your light switch, not only will you see your coats, hats and keys before you leave the home, but you will look more organized as an individual to your guests. Now that you're all packed and ready for your next trip don't forget to express your love to your loved ones and eat a healthy meal! Nothing is worse than traveling when you feel sick. Most importantly, remind yourself to have fun and enjoy all the moments of your trip!
