This week amongst my daily Interior Design search I wanted to share my favorite finds for each type of room and why it works:

Kitchen
Light creamy whites in warm hues accent the simple stainless steel hood and barstools. The nature decor adds a soft touch to the room helping the area to become less harsh with the greens. To try this in your home try adding a complimentary hue or color into your kitchen space.

Bathroom
Wallpaper is coming back in a huge way. With easy set up and plenty of designs and colors to choose from, small spaces look more intriguing and big spaces are designed with a focal point in mind. Try adding a wallpaper accent wall into your bathroom to get this wow factor. Found at Houzz.com for more information on the design.

Living Room
Rustic Living rooms can be taken too far sometimes, but with this complex Living Room we can see Asian influences in the rug, and decor; along with Spanish influences in the fireplace and much more. This room has three main colors: Beige (a neutral or base) blue (a rich color for pop) and orange (a complimentary color and also one of warmth and thus comfort).

Dinning Room
When Holidays and Dinner Parties arrive at your humble abode it's always a great feeling to know you have enough standing room as well as enough room for everyone to sit. This room focuses on beautiful creamy white dinning chairs in two separate tables. A smaller table for youth and a larger more eloquent table for adults. Separate lighting and adequate spacing are used.

Bedroom
A trend that has been occurring for quite sometime now is the Eclectic style. A style that involves taking vintage, rustic and hobbies and mushing it all into your favorite display of art. In this Eclectic Bedroom we can see they used creativity in differing bedding textiles and a wooden art piece as their headboard.

Kids Room
Sometime it's hard to trust your little ones with nice things for fear of them destroying every last bit of its' beauty. Have no fear with hard colored plastic. This portion of a children's room is not only a great design due to the focus of reading and playing without using technology, but if has room for siblings and parents to join in at the table.

The Office
The Place all of your hard work gets accomplished...and hopefully in piece. For some of us we prefer big open work places and others, like myself prefer a nice view, just enough storage and a functional design. This room accomplishes it all. A design savvy chair in a funky chevron print, built in file cabinets for maximum storage and a beautiful rug and wallpaper to match. Want to try this look in your home and DIY. Buy a rug in your favorite accent color and then purchase a matching designed fabric and wrap your favorite lamp shade. Display both in the same room and you have your new focal point!

Finally, An Outdoor Patio
Whether it's a warm summer night or a chilly autumn evening, a beautiful outdoor patio has a wonderful way of enchanting guests and stirring up great conversations with the family or guests! This patio is successful with subtle but beautiful overhead stringed lighting and whicker sofas. Focal point is the home, specifically the beautiful black glass doors, but when the patio is decorated with a black coffee table the conversation is brought back to the center. Main color theme being: Black (focal point and bold color), grey ( a warm grey to accent the harsh black) and green (the life of the design).

There's a reason why some of the worlds greatest meals are experimented and perfected in November. Why members of your family may travel from high and far to come visit your humble abode during this Fall season. Thanksgiving is a fantastic holiday for all to test their creativity for table centerpieces, choice of plates, and the rest of your homes colors and decor. Now is the time to take action in your homes festivity. Listed below are some simple and creative ways of redoing your home for this fall season.

Decorate with Autumn Colors
Wicker pieces, accented with burnt-orange accessories, offer seating on this glassed-in porch (seen below). The off-white urn is a TJ Maxx score. Don;t like orange? Try a faux phur blanket. The rich colors resembling a wolves hid is just as enchanting as a home full of deep hues for Fall.

Masterpiece Made From Pumpkins
Carved pumpkins don't hold a candle to this naturally brilliant idea of adding decorative leaves on top of your pumpkins (shown below) from shopterrain.com. Just use ModPodge to découpage a white gourd with pressed leaves. You can harvest the foliage from your own backyard—or online at naturespressed.com. Or get crafty with some tacks (shown below) or glue and glitter (shown above) to have a decoration more unique than the rest.

Wrap It Up
When cooler weather sets in, keep blankets, throws, and quilts in easy reach. "I store stacks of them all around the house," says New York designer Tricia Foley, who admits to living in an older home with drafty fireplaces. Find throws with different textures and colors for a bit of visual variety. "Toss a blanket in a room to warm a home—and you—in less than a minute," Foley says.

Painting pumpkins
One of the easiest ways to decorate for the Fall season. For a two-tone, dipped look, bisect a pumpkin with a strip of tape (angle the tape for a diagonal effect). Use a foam brush to cover one section of your pumpkin with two coats of acrylic paint, allowing 30 minutes of drying time per coat. Remove the tape and discard. Stop there, or repeat the steps to add another color to your pumpkin. 
To form chevron stripes—whether two or tons—link short strips of tape to make the zigzag patterns, using our photo as a guide. Use a foam brush to cover your pumpkin with two coats of acrylic paint, allowing 30 minutes of drying time per coat. Remove the tape and discard. Clean up the edges with a cotton swab if necessary. If you'd like the second color to be different than natural pumpkin orange, fill in using a small paintbrush and contrasting acrylic paint, as we did for the black-and-white pumpkin.

Simple Wreaths

Fall Fruit Centerpiece
Ripe fruit is as lush as any flower, Cut each branch to a height that allows its heavy fruits to rest on the rim of your vase. Then fill in with inexpensive foliage, such as the purple shiso leaves here. Also try: apples or persimmons. See photos below for examples. Try adding simple orange or brown ribbon to your families past-down silverware. Wrap it up and suddenly your centerpiece now has a partner in crime. The only crime being awesome interior design decoration skills!

Literal Warmth
Though having warm colors in your home is nice for your guests. Nothing says home like a wood burning fire in your living room. It has been a conversational piece for centuries. Want to spice up your mantel more than just some orange flames? Try accenting your walls with a fresh coat of paint, staining your mantel, or simply lining the mantle with family photos in colorful fall colored frames. Remember that painting for fall doesn't always have to be in reds and oranges.

This holiday season the most important thing is to remember to give thanks for all that you have in your life. Dont stress about the little things, do your best to make your home comfortable for your guests, and dont forget to express the love that you feel for those that are close to your heart.

You may have not noticed it before, due to its splendid and almost natural pairing; nut believe me when I say Concrete and Wood in exterior and interior finishes is becoming a great trend. While most Artists stray away from trends, due to their inevitability to disappear with everything else in trend land, this pairing may not fade. Modern as we know it is overtaking almost all commercial projects and potentially may be overruling traditional residential spaces. Modern simplifies our lives, helps us to connect with what's truly important inside and outside our spaces and homes. Modern helps us to connect with nature. Concrete and Wood work as a trend due to their ability to help us see nature in a different light, and a beautiful one at that. Flooring: 
Whether it's concrete floors with wood walls or wooden floors with concrete walls, you are bound to find new and creative ways to make your home a showcase.

Walls: 
Make use of a boring space with a wooden or concrete wall. As a accent wall such as the fireplace concrete wall shown below or an exterior section of wood, you need not ever fret again on what to paint or hang on that wall for it will forever remain classic by itself.

Furniture:
As shown below wooden or concrete furniture can easily be displayed in your home, even if it's not surrounded by similar materials.

Most of us at one point have lived in a small space. Whether it be your tiny bedroom at home, a studio apartment or you and your spouses first home. No matter how small or cramped there may have been a time when you wondered if there was a way to get the most out of your space. How do I make my apartment bigger, without paying for a larger space? Listed below are some inexpensive tricks and tips you can use to help organize and make the most out of your tiny space.

Bold color and Neutrals. 
Whether it be neutral walls and bold furniture or neutral furniture and a bold wallpaper, having a spotlight in the room helps the eye settle. While the you eyes settle on that popping point in your space, you will slowly recognize the rest of the details in the room. Helping your space to feel much larger and fun.

Combining Rooms.
Believe it or not, there is no rule no lawsuit waiting to happen if you leave kitchen stuff in the living room or combine your bedroom in the family room. A living room/ family room is ment to be lived in! It is ment to express yourself beautifully. And sometimes the best way to do that is by showing your taste in daybeds, or kitchen accessories. By combining rooms you not only add interest and spark conversations with your guests but you are allowing the other room to be less cluttered.

Baskets & Storage Ottomans/Benches.
A simple go to design tool is to store any towels, blankets, sheets, shoes and more in well made baskets. Use a lid or not, you are able to create an organizational feel by allowing your stuff to be gathered in an attractive piece of decor.

Correct Proportioned Lights and Headboards.
When paired with style, color, and size in mind a bedroom decorated with a nice headboard and lamps can be enough to make your room feel like a master suite. A light should be placed or hung enough to display a wide span of light on your surface or room and be easy enough to turn on and off from a standing posture or sitting/laying down. While a headboard should be based on the architecture of the room, a small room should typically call for a shorter headboard, whereas a tall room gives you more leeway. If you are unsure try testing out what looks best on a piece of paper, or measure the desired height for your headboard and stick to your goal.
